Dunga apologises for racist comment

"I think I'm an of african decent, from how much people like to beat me and how much I like to be beaten",the Brazil coach controversially said on Friday.
Dunga later apologised to "everyone who may have felt offended" by his comments after comparing himself to black people because of the stick that he receives from the media.
The Brazilian Football Association (CBF) released a statement just hours later in which the former World Cup winner declared that the way in which he expressed himself "does not reflect" his feelings and opinions.
Dunga's words were met with fierce criticism in Brazil, a country in which over half the population is black or mixed race.
Humberto Adami, the manager of the National Commission that investigates crimes from the days of slavery, stated in Brazilian newspaper O Globo that Dunga could be accused of "racial slander" and "racism" for these statements.
Brazil was the last country in the Americas to abolish slavery in 1888 and the black population is currently the social group most affected by poverty, violence and discrimination.
